5Pro Circuit Platinum Pipe - 2000 YZ250
By MotoRider31
I purchased this Pro Circuit Platinum Pipe for a 2000 YZ250 two stroke with a smashed stock expansion chamber. The product may be expensive but is a total bargain as compared to replacing with a new stock exhaust and is comparable to other aftermarket brands in terms of cost. The finish of the platinum pipe is beautiful and it bolts up perfectly. I'm running it with the stock silencer (since it is in perfect working condition) and stock jetting at sea level with a foam air filter. The bike is running a little rich (some spooge on the silencer) but isn't bad enough that I've felt the need to do any jetting. I'll do jetting when I replace the stock silencer with a Pro Circuit spark arrestor since I ride tight woods and trails along with the occasional Enduro or Harescramble where spark arrestor is required. It would have been nice to have a Platinum 2 pipe that is thicker guage for Offroad and would likely hold up better if smashed into something but it wasn't available for my Year/Make/Model.
